Jeremy Corbyn Says Pay To Stay

Jeremy Corbyn the leader of the Labour party and leader of the opposition in Britain, in his speech, said that Britain should pay to the EU so that they can stay even after Brexit. The leader confirmed that irrespective of Brexit, he and his party back the thought that Britain should continue to maintain ties with EU by entering the customs union with Europe.While at a speech in Coventry Mr. Corbyn mentioned that the UK should contribute to the Brussels with cash even after Brexit to benefit from them at a later date. The tories are unhappy with Mr. Corbyn for quoting that Britain should support individual EU agencies with money and said that he was waving the White flag to EU by making such suggestions.

He also wanted Britain to have all the EU rules and regulations despite having the capacity to form own laws. But his plans for customs union was not welcomed by Theresa May; she instead said that they would in the future have their own trade policies. He also stated that the tariff-free trading rules which served well for Britain in safeguarding the environment, workforce, customers and industrial sectors should not be made away with nor should the EU agencies. He also said that he was not averse to renegotiating to support individual agencies rather than spend money on duplication.

Wanted the rebel Tories backing to vote against the Prime Minister’s Brexit policy, which could potentially bring down the government.
